Few things smell more like home in Romania than a freshly baked cozonac.
For generations, this sweet bread has been at the heart of our family’s Christmases, Easters, weddings and celebrations. Today, we’d love to share that tradition with you.
Join us in our family home, just 20 minutes from Brașov, where our mom will welcome you into her kitchen and guide you through every step of making your own traditional cozonac. You’ll knead the dough, prepare the filling, learn the traditional twisting technique and bake a beautiful loaf to take home.
While the dough rises and later bakes, we’ll gather around the table to enjoy unlimited local wine, homemade vișinată, traditional țuică and a generous tasting platter filled with some of our favorite Romanian specialties. It’s the perfect opportunity to slow down, ask questions, hear family stories and experience Romanian hospitality just as we know it.
Whether you love baking or simply want to spend an afternoon with a local family, we’d be delighted to welcome you into our home.
